Once again I can tick off an item from the “I’ve always wanted to try that” list…
Last evening I spent several hours walking/running/scrambling around the Port Hills with Jeannie (my friend-who-bikes-everywhere) as we competed in our very first Rogaine event: [read the concept]
I was pleasantly surprised at how strong my legs felt, and wasn’t even too uncomfortable when Jeannie started running some of the sections. Maybe my legs will hold up the 3,000km hike I am just ONE MONTH away from starting?!
That said, I was certainly ready for my second-dinner once I got home and I slept very, very well.
