Interesting fact of the day: when walking on sand, you use different muscles than when strolling on solid ground!
Carrying an 18kg pack and spending over two hours in the hot sun walking up then down the beach at New Brighton today, I could feel muscles in unfamiliar places.
By the time I finish 90-Mile Beach I might just have ‘buns of steel’. Or at least by the end of 4 months my legs should have nice tone… 😉 hahaha
